Woman village head booked for misusing funds

A woman village head along with her husband and son has been booked for allegedly misusing funds and forging documents in Siwanamal here, police said today.
The case was registered against Sarpanch Mansa Devi, her husband Jille Singh and son Harish on order of a local court, they said.
Devi had allegedly misused the funds, worth lakhs, meant for village development, they said.
A resident of the same village had earlier approached the court in this connection.
