Cement manufacturing company Wonder Cement ltd on Thursday announced to increase contribution under its 'Sparsh Laxmi' and 'Sparsh Kanyadaan' scheme for retailers.
As per the revised scheme of 'Sparsh Kanyadaan', a retailer's daughter gets a cheque of Rs 1,01,000 on her wedding day. Earlier the amount was Rs. 21,000, Sanjay Joshi, executive director of the company said.
The company has also decided to increase the amount of fix deposit account in the name of a girl child born in the family of a retailer.
A fixed deposit account with amount of Rs 51,000 will be opened in the name of the girl child. Earlier, the amount was Rs 11,000, he informed.
