According to police district officer Anil Kumar Yadav, a suicide note was recovered from the site and the bodies have been sent for post mortem.
The deceased Sonveer Singh (24), a resident of Mitholi village under Naujheel police station area, was staying at a rented accommodation in Mathura where he was pursuing basic teaching certificate (BTC).
He was in a relationship with 20-year-old Jyoti, a resident of Chanpur village in Naujheel area. She too was staying with her younger sister here and pursuing BSc first year.
The bodies have been handed over to the families.
