Moratorium On Two Punjab-Based Banks

Dena Bank, which had entered into an arrangement with Canara Bank since 1991, has as of October 3 this

year, entered into an arrangement with Visa International to enhance the capability of the card. The Dena Cancard Visa, which is now acceptable in India and Nepal, will provide a wider insurance cover, upgraded usage limit and cash withdrawal facility to

its customers. Cancard offers medical insurance scheme called Cancomfort and a

telephone bill payment service, Canphone, for which the bank entered into an agreement with Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited in Mumbai.
