Aero engine maker Rolls-Royce Plc may demand up to £100 million for the use of its name by Volkswagen AG if the latter buys Rolls-Royce Motor Cars from Vickers Plc, a newspaper reported on Sunday. Sunday Business quoted a senior Volkswagen executive as saying VW fears it will have to pay between £40 million and £100 million to Rolls-Royce Plc, which owns the rights to the brand and trademark. Sunday Business said the company declined comment.
