United Airlines last week announced that it ould resume flights to India from April 2001. United Airlines would be the first airline to offer single carrier service around the globel linking Washington. Los Angeles, Hong Kong, New Delhi and London. The airline had terminated its operations to India last year owing to economic reasons. According to a release, the decision to resume operations is driven by the growth of the market toIndia and growing customer demand in New Delhi for access to the US, Europe and Asia.
