IPL 2022 RCB vs SRH Player of the Match: Marco Jansen

 
Marco Jansen was rightly chosen as the Player of the Match as he was the over that changed the game in Hyderabad's favour. In the second over, he took three-wicket, which included bowling out Faf du Plessis, getting Virat Kohli caught in the second slip on a Test ball length, and then getting Anuj Rawat caught again on the last ball of the over to finish with figures of 3-3 from his first over.

After bowling them out for just 68 in the first innings, Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the total in only 8 overs with nine wickets to spare against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The only wicket down for Hyderabad was that of Abhishek Sharma who scored a brilliant 47 off just 28 balls to get the run chase off to a flyer. It is only courtesy of his fast innings that the Srh improved thier net run rate by a huge margin and have moved on to the second spot in the Points Table with 10 points from seven games and a net run rate of +0.69, which is better than Rajasthan Royals. 
 
Earlier in the evening, there was no reprieve for RCB after the second over in which they lost three big wickets of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Anuj Rawat and they could only get up to 68 in 16.1 overs
