Tally launches ERP.9 edition in Gujarat

One of the leading business management software company, Bangalore-based Tally Solutions has launched the Tally ERP.9 edition in Gujarat. The new edition also saw 'Job Work' module being added to it in order to reduce cycle times, increase efficiency and cut costs.

The new module 'Job Work' has the capability to create easier work flows, simplify inventory management and handle exceptions without having to go for additional modules or customisation. Instead of deploying and then integrating a standalone inventory or job tracking solution, businesses can now avoid such complexities.

"The most essential feature that makes Tally ahead of its competitors is that these features would generally have to be purchased as a standalone solution and then integrated within the existing ecosystem of the ERP. The 'Job Work' from Tally ERP.9 covers all aspects that touch the organization’s business right from receiving a customer’s order to completion of job and dispatch of material to customer to receipts and payments. The module tracks the materials received, purchased and dispatched against each job order, takes care of job worker invoices, is able to process a profit analysis of each job order as well as keep provisions for statutory requirements such as Annexure V for Excise Purpose etc.
