Yahoo Lab's unit head and head of strategy Prabhakran Raghavan has left the company. According to media reports Raghavan is said to join Google, though this could not be confirmed with Google. In a statement Yahoo said: "Yahoo! thanks Prabhakar Raghavan for his dedication and contributions to Yahoo! for the past seven years. We wish him well in his next endeavor. Ash Munshi, CTO, will assume leadership for Y! Labs.” The news came in as media reports from the US suggested that Yahoo! CEO Scott Thompson is preparing for a massive restructuring of the company, and which will see some layoffs as well.
