Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 remained under sustained selling pressure through the session, slipping to an intraday low of 25,728 before finding support near the 25,700 zone, which continues to act as a crucial higher-low and horizontal support base. This support triggered a modest recovery attempt toward the 25,900 zone, aligned with the rising slope resistance, but repeated profit-booking at higher levels capped the upside.

The index eventually closed below the 25,950 resistance. A decisive close above 26,000 is now essential to revive bullish momentum toward 26,300–26,350, while a breakdown below 25,700 could extend the decline toward 25,600–25,500. Near-term sentiment remains moderately bearish due to fading momentum, although the broader trend remains intact as long as key supports hold.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Home prices in India will rise at roughly 6 per cent in the coming two years but most real estate analysts polled by Reuters say the boom in the luxury housing sector currently driving the market will peter out within five years.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Mumbai-based Citius Transnet Investment Trust has moved a step closer to its stock market debut, filing its Draft Offer Document (DOD) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) to raise ₹1,340 crore.

 

The proposed offer, comprising units aggregating up to ₹1,340 crore, includes a strategic investor portion capped at 25 per cent of the total issue size. The units are proposed to be listed on both BSE and NSE.

 

Of the total issue size, proceeds of ₹1,235 crore from the fresh issuance, the trust said, will be deployed toward the partial or full acquisition of securities of SRPL and identified project SPVs, including TEL, JSEL, Dhola and Dibang.
