Shivamogga (Karnataka), May 09 (ANI): Raw wet Ginger farming is blooming in Karnataka's Shivamogga. It is being sold at Rs 8,500 per quintal now and may reach to Rs 10,000 per quintal shortly. Being a hilly region, Shivamogga has moderate climate that is favourable for ginger cropping. Ginger is one of the major crops in Shivamogga and everyone including officers, politicians and businessmen cultivate it.
