Karnataka pineapple farmers face problem in getting produce to market amid lockdown

Dakshina Kannada (Karnataka), Shivamogga (Karnataka), Apr 02 (ANI): Pineapple farmers from Karnataka urged government to put fruit's supply under essential service in order to get their produce to reach the market amid the coronavirus lockdown. One of the farmers said, "500 to 620 tons has been rotted, if this situation continues we would have nothing to eat." On the other side, farmer from Polali in Dakshina Kannada is not able to sell his watermelon due to nationwide lockdown.
