Madurai artists make colourful dolls for Christmas

Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Dec 17 (ANI): The joyful festival of Christmas is around the corner. The artisans from Madurai have pulled up their socks to make this Christmas merrier. These artists from Vilacheri are making colourful dolls. They have made Jesus Christ and other characters from the story of Jesus' birth. Christmas is celebrated on Dec 25 every year to commemorate birth of Jesus Christ. Vilacheri is famous for crafting artistic dolls.
