Several detained for gathering at Indore temple to offer prayers amid lockdown

Indore (Madhya Pradesh), May 07 (ANI): Breaking all government norms, 15 people gathered at temple in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on May 06 to offer prayers. The incident happened in Indore's Narsingh Temple. Later, police detained the people who gathered at temple. "They had given me letter that 15 people will perform 'aarti' here. We had told them we can't allow it due to lockdown. Still they gathered here. We have detained them. We will take action against them for violating the lockdown norms," a police official said.
