Prachanda sworn in as new Nepal PM for second time

Nepal, Aug 04 (ANI): Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' took oath of office as new Prime Minister of Nepal on Thursday afternoon. This is the second time when CPN (Maoist) chairman Dahal was sworn in as the Prime Minister. Dahal, who earlier led the government for nine months in 2008, is the first communist leader to become Prime Minister twice. He was elected as the Prime Minister after securing 363 votes in Parliament on Wednesday. Breaking the age-old tradition, Dahal took oath in the name of people instead of God. Although the oath book had the word God in it, Dahal spelled people' while taking the oath.
