Spisys ropes in Core Compounds to market products in North America

Spisys Ltd, the Hyderabad based manufacturer of solvent-free food ingredients and nutraceutical compounds, has entered into marketing agreement with Core Compounds, Canada. As per the pact, Core Compounds will market Spisys Ltd's oleoresins, essential oils and nutraceutical products in North America.
 
Core Compounds expects to build a business of over 200 MT of oleoresins, essential oil and nutraceutical compounds for Spisys Ltd over the next 18 months valued at over Rs 40 crore, said Spisys in a press release. Spice oleoresins and essential oils find applications in the processed food industry to impart, taste, colour and flavour, while nutraceutical compounds are used as APIs in the health supplements industries.
