Bengaluru-based health-tech startup Medikoe has raised $ 100,000 in seed funding Anil Menon, CEO of CMS Computers Limited. The company, which currently operates only in the city, plans to expand its operations to Mumbai and Delhi NCR before the end of the year.

Medikoe enables discovery of hospitals, diagnostic centres and pharmacies while also curating deals for customers looking for healthcare services. The startup is entering an already crowded health-tech space which is currently dominated by Practo and Protea.

"With the help of this funding amount, we will expand across the country and associate with more than 6000+ healthcare & wellness service providers," said Sreevalsan Menon, Founder and CEO of Medikoe, in a statement.

Launched in October 2015, Medikoe claims to have over 1,800 users who made over 20,000 searches on its platform in its first month. Further, the startup has already signed up over 1,500 partners, including Manipal Hospitals, Jiyo Natural, NM Medical Diagnostic and Nightingales Home care.
