Discovery Networks launches kids channel

Discovery Networks Asia Pacific (DNAP) on Tuesday launched its eighth channel, Discovery Kids, in India, targeting the 4-11 age group market. "There exists a wide gap for quality content in the kids segment. This channel, to be available 24 hours in English, Hindi and Tamil languages, will address this gap," said Rahul, senior vice-president (south Asia), DNAP.
