Jio, BSNL sign roaming pact

State-run BSNL and Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio have signed an intra-circle roaming agreement to use each other's network across the country. BSNL already has similar pacts with Vodafone and Aircel.

BSNL has vast geographical coverage across the country (except Delhi and Mumbai) whereas Jio, with its all-internet protocol, end-to-end 4G-LTE (fourth generation) network, is started the latest technology to offer high-speed internet across the country.
