Public sector iron ore miner NMDC Limited reported a 10.8 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 1,464.95 crore for the quarter ended March, 2013, as compared with Rs 1,642.28 crore in the corresponding quarter last year despite a double digit growth in revenues.
Total income for the quarter under review grew 19.29 per cent to Rs 3,751.64 crore from Rs 3,144.87 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
For the full year ending March, 2013, net profit decreased 12.7 per cent to Rs 6,342.37 crore as compared with Rs 7,265.39 crore in the previous year.
Total income was marginally down to Rs 12,943.1 crore from Rs 13,278.38 crore in the previous year.
