Vikram Kotak set to join Deutsche MF

Sources say Kotak may join DWS in mid-July

Vikram Kotak, ex-chief investment officer (CIO) of Birla Sun Life Insurance, is set to join Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DWS), which has assets under management of Rs 18,500 crore. He will join DWS as its CIO. Deutsche Bank declined to comment on the matter. Aniket Inamdar was DWS's chief investment officer till late last year. Sources said Kotak was expected to join DWS in mid-July. In 2011, Kotak had quit Birla Sun Life.
