The Covid-19 pandemic created a global crisis in employment. Microsoft estimates that global unemployment may have exceeded a quarter of a billion people by the end of 2020.

As economies across the world recover, one of the keys to an inclusive recovery from this crisis are programmes that provide easier access to digital skills for all, enabling everybody to participate and thrive in a digital economy.
