NEWSALERT: UBI reduces PLR by 25 basis pnts

Kolkata-based United Bank of India (UBI) has reduced prime lending rate (PLR) by 25 basis points to 12 per cent with effect from 1st July, 2009.   
 
"All corporate and retail categories borrowers such as MSME, agriculture, retail rrade and other sectors, as well as potential borrowers will get the benefit of reduced rate of interest," said a press release from the bank.
