The rupee is trading marginally lower at 62.37/38 versus its close of 62.31/32 on Monday, tracking largely steady regional stock markets with traders looking ahead at the inflation data next week for a clearer direction.


The rupee was trading weak in morning trades due to demand for dollars by oil importers and corporates.<br />

At 11:00 am, the rupee was trading at Rs 62.39 compared with yesterday&#39;s close of Rs 62.32 per dollar.<br />

The stock market indices are in the red and that was also impacting the rupee.<br />
<br />
The rupee is seen trading in range of Rs 62.90 to Rs 62.10 for the rest of the day by currency dealers.<br />
