Aluminium futures for March inched up by 55 paise, or 0.53%, to Rs 104.60 per kg in 463 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract traded marginally higher by 55 paise, or 0.52%, to Rs 106.30 per kg in 38 lots.
Prices rose as participants enlarged their positions.
