Chana futures for May fell by Rs 16, or 0.47% to Rs 3415 per quintal in 61,210 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), the April contract shed Rs 6, or 0.18% to Rs 3422 per quintal in 81980 lots.
Prices wend down as speculators offloaded positions, triggered by increased arrivals from the new crop in the spot market.
Expectations of higher output also kept pressure on chana futures trade.
