At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, April jeera added Rs 30, or 0.23% to Rs 12,955 per quintal with an open interest of 10,494 lots.
The March delivery edged up by Rs 25, or 0.19% to Rs 12,910 per quintal in 7410 lots.
Analysts said speculators enlarged their positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market on pick up in demand, that mainly led to rise in jeera futures prices.
