Markets firm; ICICI Bank, ITC shine

The NSE Nifty is up 119 points at 4,108.

Reliance Infrastructure has zoomed over 9% to Rs 825, and Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has soared 8.5% to Rs 171.

ICICI Bank has surged 5.7% to Rs 628. ITC has rallied 5.2% to Rs 181.

BHEL, DLF and Reliance Communications have advanced 5% each to Rs 1,574, Rs 451 and Rs 436, respectively.

Tata Motors has gained nearly 5% at Rs 395. Bharti Airtel, TCS and Mahindra & Mahindra have moved up 4.3% each to Rs 742, Rs 862 and Rs 538, respectively.

Out of 2,486 stocks traded, 1,969 have advanced, 462 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
