Ranbaxy slips 6%; Mahindra & Mahindra up 0.7%

Ranbaxy has tumbled over 6% to Rs 562. BHEL has plunged 4.7% to Rs 1,428.

ICICI Bank has declined 4.2% to Rs 752. Larsen & Toubro has slipped 4.2% at Rs 2,635.

HDFC Bank has dropped 3.7% at Rs 1,123, while HDFC has lost 3.6% to Rs 2,231.

SBI is down 3.4% at Rs 1,305. Reliance Infrastructure has slipped 3.3% to Rs 1,038.

DLF and Tata Motors have declined 2.4% each to Rs 480 and Rs 505, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has lost 1.9% to Rs 230. Hindalco and Reliance are down 1.6% each at Rs 171 and Rs 2,248, respectively.

 

TCS and Bharti Airtel have shed 1.4% each at Rs 888 and Rs 800, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has added 0.7% to Rs 574. Wipro is up marginally.

The markets breadth is negative - out of 2,588 stocks traded so far, 1,770 have declined, 750 have advanced and 68 are unchanged.
