Saria strengthens on stockists buying

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne in the local steel market today on emergence of stockists buying followed by pick up in demand amid restricted arrivals.

Traders said fresh stockists buying to meet an increased demand influenced the saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 40,800, Rs 40,500 and Rs 39,200 per tonne, respectively.

Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin at Rs 37,050 per tonne.
