Sensex falls over 100 points

The BSE Sensex and the Nifty fell for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, with the Nifty marking its biggest fall since March 3, as interest-rate sensitive shares fell after wholesale inflation accelerated more than expected. The benchmark Sensex closed 0.64 per cent lower at 22,484.93, while the broader Nifty also ended down 0.64 per cent at 6,733.10.
