U K Sinha, 61, chief of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), has much work ahead, in the two more years the government has given him in this charge. In his fourth year as chief, he has to ensure a new corporate governance code, revamp of insider trading norms and a framework for real estate investment trusts (REITs), all in various stages of implementation.
