In limited deals, turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks position.
Encouraging advices from growing regions also supported the rise in prices. Turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 16,100- 19,300 per quintal.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists and rising domestic demand pushed up turmeric prices on the wholesale market here.
