The Sensex more or less moved in the same band of almost 650-points as that of the preceeding week - high of 11,363, and a low of 10,716- and eventually ended with a smart gain of 2.8% (306 points) at 11,329.
In the process, the index has surged over 36% (3,003 points) in the last seven straight weeks.

Wipro zoomed nearly 14% to Rs 274.
Jaiprkash Associates, Reliance Infrastructure, ACC, Grasim and Bharti Airtel surged 10-13% each.
Tata Motors, Reliance Communications, DLF, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, Hindalco, HDFC Bank and Reliance moved up 4-7% each.
...AND THE SHAKERS
Ranbaxy shed 5% at Rs 185. Maruti slipped over 4%.
ICICI Bank, Sun Pharma and NTPC declined 1-2% each.
