Upmove continues... DLF, Tata Motors zoom over 10%

The Sensex touched a high of 10,377, and is now up 441 points at 10,343.

The BSE Realty index has surged 7.4% to 1,767. The Metal index and Bankex have rallied 5.7% each to 6,158 and 4,860, respectively. The Capital Goods index has gained 4.5% at 6,756.

DLF and Tata Motors have zoomed 10.5% to Rs 195 and Rs 199, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates has soared 9.5% to Rs 94. ICICI Bank has rallied 7% to Rs 374.

Reliance Communications, Reliance Infrastructure and HDFC have surged 6.7% each to Rs 192, Rs 587 and Rs 1,605, respectively.

SBI and Larsen & Toubro have gained 6.5% each to Rs 1,144 and Rs 715, respectively.

 

Tata Power and Mahindra & Mahindra have moved up around 6% each to Rs 843 and Rs 418, respectively.

Sterlite, Tata Steel, TCS and Wipro are up nearly 6% each at Rs 372, Rs 222, Rs 575 and Rs 266, respectively.

The market breadth is exremely positive - out of 2,288 stocks traded so far, 1,752 have advanced, 458 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
