Zinc futures for April moved down by 60 paise, or 0.58% to Rs 102.65 per kg in 3,319 lots.
At the Multi Commodity exchange (MCX), the May contract traded lower by 50 paise, or 0.48% to Rs 104.05 per kg in 534 lots.
Prices moved down as speculators offloaded their positions.
Weak global trend influenced zinc futures trade here.
On the London Metal Exchange (LME), zinc retreated 0.7% at $1,923 a tonne.
