Defence Minister Parrikar to visit Leh

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will arrive in Leh today on a two-day visit to Ladakh.

During his visit, Parrikar will review the security and border situation and interact with army commanders and personnel at Leh.

He will also inaugurate the week-long Buddhist Heritage international festival of Ladakh and formally transfer technology developed by the Defense Institute of High Altitude Research, a DRDO research unit in Ladakh to a private company.
