Senior BJP leader and Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde will be laid to rest in Beed today with full state honours. Munde's body is being taken to Latur today from where it will reach his native Parli village for the final rites.
The senior politician passed away yesterday after his car met an accident in New Delhi. Senior politicians, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and L K Advani paid homage to the deceased leader at the party headquarters in New Delhi.
Several senior leaders and party workers are set to attend the funeral rites of Munde.
