Pak celebrates 68th Independence Day

Pakistan's 68th Independence Day celebrations kicked off with President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief Raheel Sharif, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and other important leaders attending a ceremony at the President's residence.

Twenty-one guns were fired in provincial capitals and 31 guns were fired in the capital city of Islamabad to commemorate the day, reported The Express Tribune.
