Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Saturday reviewed the full range of bilateral relations during their delegation level talks here.
"Building an important relationship. Delegn level talks led by PM and President review the full range of bilateral relns," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
Prime Minister Modi, who arrived here yesterday on the fourth leg of his Central Asian tour, was earlier in the day accorded a ceremonial welcome by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Oguzkhan Palace in Ashgabat.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate a statue of Mahatma Gandhi and a Traditional Medicine and Yoga Centre here.
This is the first visit to Turkmenistan by an Indian Prime Minister after PV Narasimha Rao's visit in 1995.
