Powerful blast hits Italian consulate in Cairo

A powerful blast has hit the Italian consulate in Cairo, injuring two policemen and three civilians, said reports.

According to the Daily Star, the blast was caused due to a car bomb.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Witnesses said that the force of the explosion had caused massive destruction to the building.
