Russian embassy in Syria attacked by insurgents

Russian embassy in Syria has been attacked today by insurgents who fired two shells, as many supporters of the Syrian Government gathered outside the compound to show gratitude to Moscow for its intervention in Syria. (ANI)

Smoke billowed from the embassy after the first shell slammed into the compound, ABC News reports.
