President Mukherjee arrives in Israel, heads for Ramallah

A special plane carrying President Pranab Mukherjee and his entourage landed in Israel capital Tel Aviv a short while go on Monday.

President Mukherjee was received by Israel's Agriculture and Rural Development Minister M K Uri Ariel.

He was then driven in a special cavalcade to Ramallah in Palestine via the Betunia Border.

President Mukherjee will visit the mausoleum of late Palestine President Yasser Arafat and pay floral tribute to a bust of Mahatma Gandhi.
