The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which has threatened to pull out of the 'maha gathbandhan' in poll-bound Bihar after being given merely three out of the total 243 seats, has said it will consult its party workers over the further course of action.

"It feels like the 'maha gathbandhan' doesn't have any place for the NCP or a Muslim face. They have already decided and didn't even feel the need to consult us. This is not acceptable to us," NCP leader Tariq Anwar told ANI.

"We are convening a meeting of our workers on the 16th in Patna. After consulting them we will decide what needs to be done," he added.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had yesterday announced the seat sharing formula for Bihar, in which he announced 100 seats each to the RJD and JDU and 40 seats for the Congress.

Three seats were allocated for other national parties like the NCP and INLD.
