Nine persons have been killed after the roof of a decrepit house collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district.
Three injured persons, who are currently receiving treatment, are said to be in a serious condition.
The locals have blamed negligence in maintenance as the reason behind the incident.
"The house was very weak, it was weakened further by the rains. We told him (house owner) to get it repaired...They were sitting outside the house when it happened," said one of the neighbours.
