A Trinamool Congress (TMC) delegation, which called on Vice President and Rajya Sabha chairman Mohammad Hamid Ansari here on Friday, described the meeting as very fruitful.
"We had asked for this meeting. We are very happy that he gave us his time. Mr. Mukul Roy was here, my senior, then there was myself and three or four of our other party MPs whoever could make it to Delhi. So, we had a very purposive and a very fruitful meeting. We shared a lot of issues with the chairman of the Rajya Sabha on a variety of issues in between these two sessions," TMC MP Derek O' Brien told ANI here.
"And it was a purposive meeting but the details of the meeting we believe we would not like to discuss in the media, we would like to keep it confidential but we have shared whatever we have had to say with him," he added.
