The Mainland China equity market finished the session firmer on Monday, 11 December 2017, with shares of consumer and healthcare firms being notable gainers. At the close, the Shanghai Composite index was up 32.25 points or 0.98% at 3,322.24 points. The CSI 300 Index - which tracks large caps listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen - added 1.7% to 4,069.5. The Shenzhen Composite Index and the Nasdaq-style ChiNext rose 1.5% and 1.4% separately to 1,919.69 and 1,816.98.
