Finanicals stocks slide
Finanicals stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Finance index decreasing 51.65 points or 0.87% at 5890.85 at 13:49 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Finance index, LIC Housing Finance Ltd (down 3.95%), Magma Fincorp Ltd (down 2.54%),IL&FS Investment Managers Ltd (down 2.45%),Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (down 2.33%),Oriental Bank of Commerce (down 2.33%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Religare Enterprises Ltd (down 2.19%), GRUH Finance Ltd (down 2.13%), Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd (down 1.92%), Centrum Capital Ltd (down 1.79%), and ICICI Bank Ltd (down 1.74%).
On the other hand, SIL Investments Ltd (up 7.38%), Capri Global Capital Ltd (up 5.76%), and New India Assurance Company Ltd (up 4.36%) turned up.
At 13:49 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 116.45 or 0.32% at 36608.29.
The Nifty 50 index was down 0.1 points or 0% at 10844.55.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 81.9 points or 0.66% at 12487.82.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 15.42 points or 0.37% at 4208.01.
On BSE,1369 shares were trading in green, 873 were trading in red and 136 were unchanged.
