BJP, AAP outpace Congress on Twitter
According to Twitter data, the Bharatiya Janata Party, which started its account in October 2010, now has 1.41 million followers
The BJP and the AAP are far ahead of the Congress in attracting "followers" to their Twitter accounts.
According to Twitter data, the Bharatiya Janata Party, which started its account in October 2010, now has 1.41 million followers.
The Aam Aadmi Party, India's youngest party, started its Twitter account in July 2012 -- a few months before it was born. It commands 1.33 million followers.
In contrast, the Congress, India's oldest political party, has only 351,000 followers. A latecomer to the social media, its Twitter account opened in February 2013.
