Infiltration bid on LoC foiled, two militants killed

Two militants were killed on Monday on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district as the army foiled an infiltration bid, a defence official said.

"Two terrorists were killed and two weapons recovered from them when alert troops foiled an infiltration bid from across the LoC in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara," said Defence Ministry spokesman, Col. Rajesh Kalia.

"Search operation is still going on in the area," he added.
